A Trust Deed, often known as a TD is a solution that you can use to consolidate debt in Scotland.

If you live in Scotland and your are struggling with credit card debt or many other forms of unsecured debt then a TD may well be a good way of consolidating that debt.

With a TD you would be able to reduce your numerous monthly debt repayments into one lower and more affordable payment that is based on your individual circumstances.

In addition to this your interest and charges are stopped so that after you have consolidated debt you are assured it wont get any larger.

You would make the reduced payment for typically just 36 months at which point you are debt free and whatever debt is remaining is completely written off.

Furthermore your creditors can no longer pester you or take any further action to recover the debt.

There is a similar solution known as an IVA in the rest of the UK and many  hundreds of thousands of people have used this method to consolidate debt.
